2025 West Texas Aviation Weather Safety Conference

Howdy all,

I'm happy to announce our upcoming 2025 West Texas Aviation Weather Safety Workshop on February 11th in Lubbock starting at 6 pm.  Once again, it will be held in the Science Spectrum's Science Stage.  The list of presenters is included in the enclosed Flyer and includes staff from four NWS offices including the National Aviation Weather Center in Kansas City.  

Refreshments will be graciously provided by EAA Chapter 19.

So come out and enjoy an evening of illuminating aviation weather presentations.  If you wish to fly in, F82 is the closest airfield.  Any updates to the event will be posted at https://www.weather.gov/lub/ up in the "News Headlines" at the top so you may wish to check it out before heading over.

Oh, and one other sneak peek item.  I'm looking forward to another aviation weather safety event coming up the last weekend of March in El Paso - SAWS XI.  This two-day event is not to be missed.
