Hello all,
Last night, we held our annual aviation safety workshop here at the Science Spectrum.  I was our highest attendance ever with over 70 in the crowd.  Three presentations were offered along with NWS tours after the formal program.

For those of you who signed up to the group last night, welcome.  And for our old-timers who didn't make it, I've created a page with links to the presentations.  This may be found at http://www.srh.noaa.gov/news/display_cmsstory.php?wfo=lub&storyid=95469&source=0

While our workshops have been in October for the past several years, given the turnout and proximity to weather conditions that tend to influence aviation operations, we will look to have our next workshop in January 2015.

As a reminder, this is an outgoing-only list for the purposes of disseminating information about upcoming events and weather safety information for pilots.  If for any reason you'd like to comment, please write me.

Also, if you are in need or any weather insight or have question, including during pre-flight after obtaining your "official" briefing from DUAT/Lockheed Martin, etc. please feel welcome to call our office at 806 745 4260 and ask to speak to the aviation forecaster.  We are here to serve you.  Don't forget to have a look at the aviation forecast discussion too -- http://www.aviationweather.gov/products/afd/
