Hi all,
I received this invite from the Wings Program for an upcoming Weather webinar which may be of interest to those of you who use or might consider using some of the in flight weather products available.

Also, for those of you who are involved in West Texas soaring.   If you happen to go out for a flight, we'd love to hear about your experiences on how favorable the conditions were (or weren't.) We are working toward developing some new graphical products for West Texas that will initially be focused on soaring, but would likely evolve to other areas as well.  The where, when, and how aspects of your flight would be most helpful. Reports should be sent to joe.j...@noaa.gov

Enjoy a safe summer!
Joe

Frederick, MD 21701

Select Number:

Description:

Datalink has taken a lot of the uncertainty out of weather flying, but using it safely means more than just counting on NEXRAD to steer you around whatever's out there. Whether you're already flying with datalink or just considering it, join AOPA Foundation president Bruce Landsberg and datalink expert Dr. David Strahle for a must-see discussion of how you can use cockpit weather to both complete more trips and minimize your weather risks.
