WMC 25th reunion for class of 83

I never heard about prior reunions and would like to attend this one.
Let's make it happen.

Agreed, we seem to be gaining momentum as far as the most difficult
part of one of these - collecting names and contact details. I have
been casually looking at "the next phase" which would be a full blown
reunion of sorts and found this

To boil it all down:

1. We need a list (in progress)
2. We need interest
3. We need a date and a place (since people travel usually they
recommend a cocktail reception on a Friday night, family/group event
Sat, the reunion Sat night, and a bruch depart on Sunday)
4. theres the money part (securing the place and food at a minimum)


loads of other details, lets get #1 done and see where we get to. I
suspect that by this weekend we should be approaching 100 names
through organic research (google, classmates, linkedin,
alumniresearch) and of the initial 100, we should all be able to
produce at least 1-2 more names which would drive us to a critical
mass of people.

Judging from brief notes I have received I would suspect #2 is a no
brainer... but lets see.

We probably will,

Today was another good day in gathering names, I will post a revised
class listing in 10 mins, but by way of status update:

1. Finally reached Joe Stampe who is very appreciative of this effort
and will help to the extent his schedule allows
2. Found Lynn Cavagnaro (Prz...i) who, based on several emails I
received is the "center of all things WMC83"
3. Completed email invitations to all people on CLASSMATES.COM (many
people havent visited in years)
4. Completed email invitations to all people on the ALUMNIRESEARCH
sits (fresher contacts, but jury is still out)
5. Completed a "male" pass through LINKEDIN a professional networking
site, female members are tough to find due to changes in last names
6. Completed scan of FACEBOOK.COM (picked up all 3 people there)
7. MySpace makes my head spin and brain hurt, if any of you have
accounts, please surf/search there.
8. Updated the WIKIPEDIA page for WMC to include a link to this site
(it's at the bottom)
8. Several folks are going to hit the google this weekend

Please empty out your rolodex, pick up SwitchBoard.COM or other sites
and keep searching.
