A. Preconversion: At the age of 27 i dream to achieve the following
1. finish college
2.pass the board exam for teacher
3. to have a stable job
4. Go abroad to earn a lot of money in order for me to help my parents and sisters in their financial needs.
5. to have my own house and car
6. to have a responsible and loving husband
7. to have kids
B. Major spiritual influence
Because of my strong desire to achieve all my goals. By any means i decided to go abroad even working as domestic helper if teaching is not offered. But God use this desire to change my view in life when i met UBF phillipines. I studied the bible with shepherdess grace reytos. In my bible study i was rebuke by God how foolish i am to live for this world. Now that i am 27 years old, the things that i achieve are the following
1. i finish college and
2. pass the board exam
3. i have stable job
4, i help my parents to send my sister in college
5. a lot of debts
6. no house and no car
7. no husband and no kids
But i have receive much more as my key verse says in Mark 6:33"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well". God give the desire of my heart when i find the meaning of my life. Everyday i suffer to think how to get the things that i thought that would fulfill my joy. But what i realize is that my heart is really longing for God. To do his will makes me happy. I can't explain why but i know that this is the work of the Holy Spirit in me to find joy in seeking and in doing His will.

C.Prayer Topics.
1.To thank God always
2.I may come to know God more.
3. Have wisdom to understand His word.
4. Delight in God more than anything in this world.
5. Take care of 5 faithful sheeps and have a regular bible study
6. Finish my master degree for God's future purposes
7.As the eldest among all the single in the bible house i may know how to guide and encourage my brothers and sisters to work hard for the glory of God
8. Carry the image of Jesus everyday being humble and a good teacher full of wisdom and patience to meet the needs of my students
9. To pray a lot.

Thanks, Minda. I pray often that God may grant you a responsible and
loving husband.

Thank God for your influence as a "senior shepherdess." For this Sun,
part of my sermon concerns "older women and younger women." Titus
2:3-5 say, "Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way
they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach
what is good. 4 Then they can urge the younger women to love their
husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at
home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one
will malign the word of God." May God grant me wisdom (and courage) on
how to instruct women, who I am generally scared of!

Minda,
Thank God for providing for all of your needs.  He is the SAME yesterday, today and forever, so what a comfort to know that he will always keep watch over you.
"I lift up my eyes...where does my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." ps 121
Truly, coming to depend on Him for all things is preparing you for a most GLORIOUS marriage!!
May God grant you a husband that will help you grow, compliment your weaknesses with his strengths, and look to you for support - emotionally and spiritually!!

I thank God for allowing me to see what a great influence one mature-minded, hard-working woman can have on a household of people.
Whether they realize it now or not, God is for sure using you to show them how to wash one another's feet, in honesty and love.
We (Arlene and I) continue to pray for your marriage, and believe that He is preparing a man SPECIALLY MADE for you!!
May God's will be done!!
Amen!!

Your friend and brother,
Andrew
