Trust and Be Faithful to God

Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." 

 

Pre-conversion: Before I met Jesus in my life I wanted to finish College.Have a handsome and responsible boyfriend.  Have a good future and happy family. Help my family. Have a business, nice house and nice car. Get a job with high salary. Become rich and professional woman. Get married to a professional, handsome, and smart guy. Have twin kids. Travel around the world. All these things were my dreams. I was just looking for the material things of this world. I wanted to live a happy life, enjoy many things in this world and follow my own desire for pleasure. But all these dreams were change.

 

Major Spiritual Influence: When I came here in Manila, my sister Sharon invited me to join in UBF to study the bible. I'm so happy because she became an instrument for me to meet Jesus in my life. She became a good blessing to me. I'm so thankful to God because He used my sister to bring me here in UBF to know him very personally. I'm not expecting that God will lead me here. I've been here in UBF for 4 years. When I started to study the Bible with Sh. Grace Reytos I learned a lot of things from here and I learned how sinful I am. I learned many things and I truly accepted Him in my life.  I'm so thankful and glad for his personal calling on me, it was really what I need before because I'm so hungry and thirsty  for his Word. At first, when I had one to one with my bible teacher I'm struggling to understand God's word deeply because I grew up  attending and serving  Catholic Church and I never experience Bible study like this. When I met Him in my life I realized how God really loves me that he showed his grace and mercy. I realized all the hardships and sufferings that He gave us that time everything was clear to me. I found the true joy of serving him wholeheartedly and joyfully. I learned that I really need him in my life and become the center of my life. He answered all the questions that bothering in my mind what really my purpose  here in this world. I really thank God because  he opened my spiritual eyes to see the things and the truth about my purpose, which is to please, to serve and to glorify His holy name. 

Goals/Dreams in ff. Jesus:

1.Always be thankful

2.Continue to serve and worship God wholeheartedly.

2. Share the Gospel to others.

3.Continue to read and study the Word of God deeply.

4.Continue to love our brothers and sisters in Christ.

5.Be patient and be humble always

6.I pray that I may give up everything for him. I may trust God always and not lose my faith.I pray that I may grow as faithful woman of God and woman of prayer. I pray that I may go back to Malaysia and I may get a job there so that I can help our brothers  and sisters in Christ to spread the Word of God and also to help in encouraging my sister to study the bible and to commit herself to God. I pray that may God provide me a coworker and a truly man of God on his perfect time.

Thank and PRAISE JESUS for calling you out of a TEMPORAL life of sin, and into an ETERNAL life of experiencing God's LOVE and GRACE over and over and over again!!  This joy and peace you have is just the BEGINNING!! 

Even in the short amount of time I have been able to spend with Grace R and get to know her some, I can tell that she is a powerful warrior of FAITH and PRAYER!!.  I believe God has led you to a shepherd who can lead you to Jesus in any and all situations.  Thank God for His work in your life!!  It is truly a remarkable testament to God's High, Wide and Deep love for sinners like us.  PRAISE JESUS for showing us the FULL extent of his love, through washing us with His words EVERY DAY!

Arlene and I are praying a lot for our friends in Malaysia UBF.  Did you know that Vincent and Eileen came from my fellowship, Hyde Park (Chicago)?  hahaha - it was so nice to see them when we got the chance to visit.  God really blessed our fellowship together so much, and they are eager for help in spreading the gospel to so many Malaysians.  We will support you wholeheartedly in your desire to return there in God's time and according to His leading!!  Thank God that he gave you a SHEPHERD's heart for your sister and the lost sheep of Malaysia!  He will SURELY answer your prayer for a husband who will not only help you co-work, but help you grow more and more to be like JESUS!!  May God continue to bless you in ALL that you do for HIS NAME, and uphold you with his righteous hand!!  AMEN!!
