Will the rains never end? I'm beginning to think I live in Seattle
after not seeing the sun for the past month.

Forecast shows cloudy with 30-40% chance of rain this coming weekend &
the wind looks decent, especially on Saturday. If anyone wants to get
out on the water, just let me know.

Cabin fever is settling in & I need to get out!

Feng, not sure if we can get away with a sailboat on Maojiabu until we
get our "official permit" but I would be interested in joining you
there with the Song & a few other boats. Light winds are forecast
Sunday so I'll be out tomorrow afternoon at XiangHu since it looks to
be a much better sailing day.

What do you bring plan to bring out besides the Vosper? Perhaps the
212? ;-)

Here's the weekend forecast for those interested in sailing:

Friday: Partly sunny, 11C, 10% chance of showers, 18km NE wind.
Location: Xiang Hu or TieSha River

Saturday: Cloudy, 7C, 60% chance of afternoon showers, 12km ENE
wind.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, 10C, 10% chance of showers, 8km ENE wind.
Location: Maojiabu (EP boats & subs)

As stated above, I'm playing hookie tomorrow afternoon since it
appears to be the nicest day we'll see until next Friday. Saturday
could be another opportunity IF there's morning wind before the rains
come back.

If anyone wants to get together Sunday on Maijabu to play with subs &
other non-stickboats, we'll be out early afternoon. It would be fun
getting together for some tea &/or pijiu for those who can make it.

RSVP here or by mp if anyone cares to join in.

Hey Chuck,

I am out for Friday, and a possible for Saturday, although I may have
a bit of grading to do.

It could depend on the weather.

As for Sunday afternoon, it sounds like fun. I usually do the Reggae
Brunch till about 1ish, and I will have a run at 4pm, but there should
be a couple hours in the middle to watch some submarine action and
drink some tea/beer/cola with ginger in it (great for a cold would you
believe)

Will touch base on the weekend.

Ian,

What???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am really sorry to hear of Elena's
accident & fully understand why you'll not be doing much sailing in
the coming days & weeks ahead.

Give her our best & take care!

Joe,

I'll keep post details on Sunday afternoon here no later than Saturday
so everyone knows the time.

Not sure where you are sitting but I see blue skies & a nice breeze in
the trees from outside my window after waking up this
morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Temps are to be 12C with more sun today than we've seen in a long time
so it anyone wants to play....

Will let you know tomorrow about plans for Sunday.

Chuck
