Thought for the Week.

I wanted to share this week a thought that has been constantly running in my head since LC Re-Planning Stage and re-designing the whole Operational and Strategic theme of the LC and beyond. I wonder if leadership for us has become inspiration (a word we love to throw around) by words rather than by action. Because leadership is about doing and not talking. A leader does the right thing at the right time even if that right thing is as small as following a deadline. I wonder how any leader can inspire action by only talking about the right thing but not doing the right things and wether such a leader is ever respected by his/her followers. The question of ethical leadership and wether AIESEC Indore is creating ethical and honest leaders that our city and country needs or just the kind of leaders that our country already has a very good question to access and discuss. We do not have the data to answer this question as of now but I am sure in the near future we wll and till then we can only access our ownself and the teams we are leading to be satsfied or unsatisfied by the kind of leaders AIESEC Indore has created or is creating. I had shared similar thoughts in the first AIESEC Indore newsletter but wanted to hear what you guys thought about the same so will be hoping for some replies if you are able to take sometime out from your busy schedules and reply :)
