Hello Guys

I am sending you a letter that you should email/courier (get the parent's email/address at the LTSs/LCMs that you are conducting this weekend) to the parents of all your new recruits, to help secure their support for RYLC. This letter can also be modified a little and provided to members in order to overcome attendance issues in college.

We are also trying to get an endorsement specifically for RYLC 2012 from Mr Shivinder Singh (Fortis Healthcare), which Shravan should be receiving tomorrow. Nonetheless, there are a couple of endorsements attached which should be a part of the package being sent.

Please modify and send these letters across ASAP.

Looking forward to beautiful and BIG delegations from your LCs at RYLC.

Dear Parent

Hope this email finds you in the best of spirits! Introducing myself, I am <YOUR NAME>, a <YEAR> student of <COURSE OF STUDY> at <UNIVERSITY>. I am also currently heading the <CITY/UNIVERSITY> operations of the world's largest youth run organisation - AIESEC.

Through this letter I would like to inform you that your ward has been selected into AIESEC <LC Name> out of approximately 2000 students who applied from across city colleges and has an opportunity to attend the bi-annual Regional Youth Leadership Conference 2012. This is a once in a life time opportunity for young students across the country to attend a congregation of some of the smartest minds across India and be a part of one of the most unique leadership development forum held across the nation.

ABOUT AIESEC

Present in over 2000 universities in 110 countries and territories, AIESEC, the world's largest youth run organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society. Towards this aim we run more than 400 conferences, provide 16,000 cultural exchange experiences and offer over 6,500 leadership opportunities to our members each year.

In India AIESEC is nationally head-quartered in Mumbai out of Godrej Industries and local chapters are present in 21 cities across the country.

AIESEC is a unique and growing network of 60,000 students, from various backgrounds like management, technical and humanities. We are non-political, not-for-profit, independent and entirely student-managed.

Each year since 1948, we have worked to fulfil our mission of developing young people to be individuals able to meet the challenges of the world, our countries and local communities. By empowering them with the necessary skills and understanding of the forces shaping the world around them, we create a powerful group of future leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility and a desire to act.

We develop youth by providing a series of learning experiences linked to a diversity of activities in fields such as sustainable development, education, enterprise and social responsibility. A major component of these activities is the Global Internship Program for graduates and young professionals, facilitating an intense intercultural and practical experience in another society, exposing the intern to a different culture and its issues.

Internationally, AIESEC is supported and endorsed by Lufthansa, P&G, TCS, Oracle, Ericsson, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, UBS, Hewlett Packard, Philips, Citibank, Coca-Cola, UNESCO, The World Bank, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, European Union and many more.
