Thought of the Week:

This message has certainly motivated me in the recent times which has resulted to take a lot of important decisions and steps towards AIESEC Indore and my personal life as well, eventually made me feel positive.

Hello, Again a week with lots of AIESEC acitivities happening around the Local Committees where all the sectors having their own outputs out of their valuable discussions in the meetings. I have been certainly going through a lot of diversed experience in this week where I observed a lot of needful changes happening in the LC  but still there is a bunch of things which are left to do. These changes are all related You and Me in context of our ideas and thoughts and get all of the come on the same page and under one roof.

This Newslleter for this week has a very authentic informations about AIESEC and other relevant things which will surely set up the standards of weekly newsletters.

1. AIESEC Indore Initiatives:

A. Stakeholders Management:AIESEC Indore this week took a new initiative towards  our Local External Stakholders  where all the Stakeholders of AIESEC Indore has been added in a seperate Gmail Group where they all will recieve updates from AIESEC Indore and all kind of informations about our recent activities and functions.

 

B. Vote of Thanks Letter:Vote of Thanks letter is written instrument delegating a Thank You message to all the corporates, Clients and Partners who got associated with AIESEC Indore in its events, forums, meetings and activities.

2. From the AIESEC International Association:

 

 

AIESEC International's biggest awards ceremoney known as UBS Awards 2012 was held in Moscow this week, Russia at the AIESEC International Conference 2012.

AIESEC Indore, Congratulates all the Countries who have done brilliantly in the 2011-12 and made their AIESEC National Association proud in the International Arena.

 

Congratulations to AIESEC in Cambodia, AIESEC in Egypt, AIESEC in Kenya, AIESEC in Italy, AIESEC in Ukraine and AIESEC in Colombia for winning UBS Regional/Global Excellence Awards at International Congress 2012 in Moscow, Russia! And AIESEC in Ethiopia for getting Global Entrepreneurship Excellence Award! 

AIESEC Indore firmly believe these awards recognise the highest level of achievement within AIESEC. This is just one more example how they lead the global organisation and drive it forward and truly represent the AIESEC value of Striving for Excellence!

 

3. Balakalkar Organizing Committee Application:

AIESEC Indore in Association with National Olympiad Foundation is hosting Balakalakar involving 1000 Underprivileged kids on 30th September where kids will be addressed by AIESECers and other Internationals from different countries to raise a voice against Child Labour make all the kid's one day special by organizing some special activities like Drawing, Essay, Dance-Singing Competition and a IQ test. Other event associates are Altius Institute, Radio Mirchi and CH Group.

 

Here is a opportunity to be a part of this event's Organizing Committee where you can be one who will be provided a platform to make all those 1000 kid's one day special. Feel Free to apply for this exclusive opportunity. 

 

For applying in the organizing Committee you need to send an Intent letter mentioning why you want to be a part of this event and how can you contribute to this event. Deadline for this event is 2nd September 11:59 P.M.

5. Member Of the Month:

Siddharth Pathak:                            

He is a member who has been there for his department and for AIESEC Indore at every moment, has played a huge role in successful delivery of the project Sanidhya, Has set a perfect example of a combination of effective and efficient work person yet being one of the most humble member AIESEC Indore has ever seen....

His act and behaviour towards other members and also his capacity to face the most critical situations with calm and successfully coming out of it makes him undoubtedly member of the month.

6. Important Notices:

A. Local Training Seminar for all the New Recruits will be held on 2nd September at Prestige Institute's UG Campus, Auditorium. All of you are invited for this Induction Forum and post LTS we will aslo Parent's Meeting and Board of Advisor's Meeting where we set up a strong expectation setting between BoAs and Parents of the new members.

 

B. Regional Youth Leadership Conference will be held on 16th t 19th of September in Puna by AIESEC Navi Mumbai. Interested delegates are requested to contact VP TM, Indraneel for more information about the conference and other quesries.

 

C. Balakalakar OC Applications as mentioned above is for both MB and GB members. Interested candidates ensure you send the intent letter to me atshiva1...@gmail.com before the deadline which is 2nd September 11:59 P.M.

 

 

D. Next Local Committee Meeting is Scheduled for 9th September at 11:00 A.M. at Rennaissance College where we Introduce the new AIESECers in the AIESEC culture with lots of Jives and Motions. All the departments are requested to come prepared with a strong delegation and create a sound Local Plenary.

 

 

Good Luck for the week and Looking forward to have a good participation towards the Organizing Committee of Balakalakar. Before I close this newsletter, this is a food for thought for the week.
