My Fellow Geepos,
I write to personally and strongly rebut in the strongest possible term the faulty and irreverent complain of Hon. T. Freeman Chea; who has proven over the years his incompetency of administering all and every responsibilities given to him by the PA Chapter through the appointment of our dear President. This communication of mine must not be in no way understood that I am speaking for the PA Administration, non-anything that has the propensity to offset our dear peaceful and transparent election. But let it be understood as a Co-Chairman to the Board of Directors, and a member of the Boya Election Commission, I am obliged to make Hon. T. Freeman Chea understand through this same medium that, he does not comprehend the quotes of the very PA's Constitution he cited, and he lacks the understanding of what went on during the meeting, and the magnitude of confusion he caused us at our general meeting.
Mr. T. Freeman Chea has become a complete embarrassment to our Chapter's President and the entire membership of PA River Gee Chapter: Prior to our River Gee convention, Mr. Chea was appointed for the first time to spearhead the Planning Committee for our National Convention that was scheduled to have been held in Philadelphia in 2009. Our first experience with Mr. T. Freeman Chea demonstrated, he could not perform up to the task. The general body in conjunction to the Chapter's President, George Nagbe immediately removed him, and replaced him with Hon. Elphinstone Birch as head of the River Gee Philadelphia Planning Committee for Convention in 2009.
In similar manner, Mr Chea was given a second chance to act as Financial Secretary to our Chapter. When it was time to give the Chapter's annual financial report, Hon. T. Freeman Chea continues to tell the general body that electricity (current) went at his home for almost two weeks. It becomes so embarrassing that, once again the body through the Chapter President had to bring in Hon. Samuel Beweh to replace Hon. Chea as Financial Secretary just to get our work done in the Chapter.
Of most recent, the President once again appointed Hon. T. Freeman Chea amidst dissatisfaction from some members of the Board of Director including my very self. Hon. T. Freeman Chea was warned by members of the Board and the President in the meeting if he failed to performance as past incidents demonstrated or showed, he will be replaced without a delay.
With no doubt, Hon. T. freeman Chea did not fail our expectations by embarrassing us and demonstrating his incompetency for the third time. Having received the potential candidates' names for all the various positions a month in advance of November 21, 2010 slated election, Mr. Freeman Chea did not disqualify any candidate until on the day of election. This was protested by one of the candidates, and Hon. Chea was mandated by the general body to resolve all impasses and complicated issues regarding the election. The election was then rescheduled for January 16, 2011; giving the Chea's Commission more than six weeks to have meeting with the candidates and resolve the impasses.
Considering the incompetency of Mr. T. Freeman Chea, he did not have any meeting with none of the candidates for the six weeks that were given. Two days to the election, Mr. Chea decided once again to embarrass the PA's Chapter by calling one of the candidates stating, "Your vice President is disqualified." This was then brought to the attention of the Administration and the Board of Directors. Mr. T. Freeman Chea did not stop there. He began to call some of the chapter members that election was cancelled without consulting the Presidential Candidates, the PA Administration and the Board of Directors. However, while some of the members he spoke to heed to his call, other refused to listen to him because he could not give them a viable reason(s) why election was cancelled a day to our election: January 16, 2011. Those members found their way to the general meeting.
In Hon. T. Freeman Chea’s assertion, he claimed “Where were the President, his executives and the board of Directors when the decision to “take over” by Hon. Kear was made? Did Hon. Urial G. Kear consulted with the rest of the Board of whom I am a member, representing Gbeapo district?” I seriously wonder about Hon. Freeman Chea’s reasoning or comprehension. In Hon. Kear’s stated who Mr. Chea quoted right, he was “authorized” by the general body of the meeting which indeed included the President and his Executives; as well as the very Board of Directors he is referencing. All these noble people were present in the meeting as part of the general body that day. Is that understood?
Moreover, T. Freeman Chea is not part or parcel of the PA River Gee Board of Directors because he formally and ceremonially relinquished his membership from the Board in the home of the President during one of our general meeting. Mr. Freeman Chea is just one of an ordinary member in our Chapter who does not have any executive, administrative and board’s decision to make. He was appointed as Chairman to the dissolved Election Commission by the Chairman of the Board of Directors with the advice and consent of our Chapter’s President and the entire membership.
Freeman Chea must come to terms to the reality or face the full weight of the Chapter’s….. if he continues to discredit the efforts of the entire membership.
God bless you.
