Webbo District

Task of a District Liaison

1.       Identify each town chief and paramount chief in your district;

2.       List all their telephone numbers;

3.       Identify Pro-Wesseh for Senate individuals in each town in your district;

4.       Study and report on the numerical strength of each two in your district;

5.       Identify students/youth in each school in every town that will serve as foot soldiers;

6.       Database the names, telephone numbers of teachers in each town.

7.       Database the names of pastors and churches in each town in your district.

Why this part of the campaign strategy?

From my personal observation, CB never had a well planned campaign team in each district which could have started mobilization far ahead of the campaign season. This long planning will enable our supporters  to educate voters on why CB needs to be elected Senator. The propaganda against him over the years in Potupo and Gbeapo needed a strong counter explanation. The time was too short for the two different times he ran to have overcome the anti-Wesseh sentiment in many places.

During the past two campaigns the major question asked was : “What has Conmany Wesseh done for our people?” This time, we must answer this question with assistance given and not what he did while we were in Grand Gedeh.

Wesseh’s philanthropy work in River Gee County between the last election and November 2011

Gbeapo Central High School, the only high school in the county needs assistance in the below areas as I was told today ( October 6, 2010) by Mr. Daniel Wesseh, Principal of the school:

1.Scholarship to send a student to the Teachers College, University of Liberia. It cost $1,000.00 USD to help a student obtain a degree. Or those already at the college could be assisted to graduate .

2. Logistics: They need three motor bites ( $700-$800 each) for teachers who live far from the school and therefore get to class late at times, especially when it is raining.

3.  Books, CB can work with Amb (Prof) Dew Mayson to help equip the library and for some text books.

4. The school needs  three computers for faculty members.

5. They need a generator for the school to have the computer run at the time they are in school. The price of the generator, according to Mr. Wesseh, the Principal is, $600.00 USD

6. Financial help to compensate volunteer teachers at the high school.

Financial Aid

Scholarship carries the name of anyone than any assistance I have known in school. During the Gbeapo Central High School graduation on October 24, 2010 in Kanweaken, CB could award financial assistance to five students from each district with the highest average. The cost for tuition and WAEC fee is $24.78 USD. Let say $25.00 USD. This will amount to $750.00 for thirty students in the 12th grade.

Strategy: CB and us will be in constant contact with these students to help promote the Wesseh for Senate Campaign in their districts and in Gbeapo that CB must win due to its high population and since it is easy for the students to run between the Gbeapo towns that are very closed to one another.

Very Important

CB should hold a graduation party for the 61 students who passed the WAEC Exam in collaboration with Wesseh for Senate  Youth Campaign. My nephew, Kirkpatrick B. Weah II is working hard to organize this youth and students group in Gbeapo Central High. Small Kirkpatrick loves politics and is now involved in LINSU work. He was awarded scholarship by LINSU recently in Gbeapo Central High. The apple does not fall far from the tree, isn’t it? Smile! I have told him about the contribution of CB in LINSU’s struggle for democracy, for our county and people and why he had to flee the country. Like my son, I have told small KP about CB’s personal contribution to my life and it is because of him I was able to leave the country when I was wanted again, after the death of our uncle, who was beheaded by Doe. Little KP is in the 11th grade in GCHS.

The 2011 campaign for any elected position will not be a baby’s play.  It is a do or die. Money will speak and propaganda will be at its highest peak. We need to start the campaign now, if CB family will approve of his next try with a victory certain.

Let us begin the teleconferences now ! It is very cheap to call to Europe. I think we need to start the teleconferences while CB is in Europe to put strategy together. I just dislike last minute to the time politics and campaigning.

This is my input, this is my song, this is my story, as the aluta continua !
