Hi Nada,
We’re excited to share our first call for volunteer support using our new Bloomerang Volunteer system — and we’re kicking things off with an important farm project that needs all hands on deck. When access your profile you will be able to select your interests to only receive relevant volunteer opportunities!
Our Farm Manager, Danny, is asking for extra hands help on Friday, March 20 and Friday, March 27. We are shifting our original plan from Trees for Tribs to working in our TWO BRAND NEW MOBILE TUNNELS!!
These new tunnels are a major step forward for the farm. They allow us to grow more food while also doing what’s best for the soil — helping us move away from having to choose between productivity and long-term soil health. Before we can get planting, we need help spreading compost and preparing these spaces for the season ahead.
If you’re available, we’d love to have you join us for this hands-on farm work. Volunteers should be comfortable with physical outdoor tasks such as shoveling, raking, pushing wheelbarrows, bending, lifting, and walking on uneven terrain.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots, and bring a water bottle.

Thank you for helping us launch this new system and for showing up when the farm needs it most. We’re grateful to have you with us as we build toward a productive and healthy growing season.
Warmly,
Wilson Chang
