Hello Compost Enthusiasts,
Get ready to enrich your gardens! Westchester County is excited to announce two upcoming residential compost distribution events this May, offered free to all Westchester residents. This high-quality compost is produced at the County's CompostEd facility. Each registered resident will receive two convenient 1-cubic-foot bags of this valuable resource.
Here are the details for the upcoming events:
· Cortlandt Event - May 21st: Westchester DEF is partnering with Peter McCartt from the Office of the County Executive for a combined Compost Bin Sale and Compost Distribution event in Cortlandt. If you're interested in purchasing compost bins, accessories, or rain barrels, please pre-purchase them by following this link: https://westchester.compostersale.com/
· Croton Point Park Event - May 27th: Westchester DEF will also be holding a compost distribution event at Croton Point Park.
Important: Registration is required to receive compost at either event. Please register through the following link: https://environment.westchestergov.com/residential-compost-distribution-events
