Dear All,
Our good colleague Joseph Muhlhausen from the World Bank has developed a very effective approach to planning drone missions. I've had the opportunity to work closely with Joseph in the field and his planning approach to drone missions is something that all of us in the humanitarian drone space should know about
.
Speaker: Joseph Muhlhausen is a drone specialist with 10 years of experience in image processing and analysis. A graduate of University Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, Sciences Po in Paris and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs in New York, Joseph has worked with the United Nations, World Bank, Government of Ethiopia, and numerous non-profits such as Catholic Relief Services and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
Presentation: It is often a challenge to give clients a quick estimate of a drone mapping mission that includes flight time, processing time, resolution and cost. There are existing flight planing software solutions that will give you very good but often brand specific flight plan estimates. Image processing software can also give you processing time estimate but only once you feed it the captured imagery. Finally, you can always estimate cost per km2 but it may not reflect the specifics of your platform or your cost structure. This webinar will show you a simple way to answer all of these questions in a few clicks.
Date/Time:Tuesday, August 7th at 2pm New York Time.

Many thanks,
