I have tried different USB ports, uninstalling the drivers (which always shows that there are 2 HID Keyboard Devices) in the device manager, even a different USB cable to see if the stock one had a short or something. All have not worked.

Hi guys some days ago my keyboard some water over it and well now its working again. But something must have " died " inside since when I connect it to my PC I cant download the drivers and I also reinstalled my windows so I dont have the drivers anymre. But in my laptop ( mac ) were the drivers were already downloaded time ago its working perfectly.

If plugging it into a different USB port doesn't work, try using a different USB cable. Your driver may also not be correctly installed; check this link for the correct driver. If it doesn't connect to your computer but connects to another computer, it's possible that the USB port in your computer has lost connection with the computer's motherboard; if so, you'll need to open up your computer and re-attach the internal USB cable with the motherboard. Search iFixit for instructions on how to do this with your computer. You can check the troubleshooting guide for your device for more information.

This is an odd error, and I've spent the past few hours (well, really, most of today) trying to track down the cause of it. I have an Nvidia graphics card and the required Nvidia packages (nvidia, nvidia-settings, nvidia-utils). I do not have nouveau installed. I have confirmed that the driver in use for the graphics card is, in fact, "nvidia." However, despite all that, OpenGL doesn't seem to use hardware acceleration. Here's the output of glxinfo grep OpenGL:

Now, this is generally a somewhat frowned upon solution, but the config below could be what's needed to load nvidia driver before VESA. Maybe losing the systemd-logind support with LightDM is at fault, where systemd locks the module for just enough time to break everything. I remember some old bug in systemd that did something similar with systemd-logind holding modules, but I couldn't really tell from the logs and who really understands all of Xorg anyways? You could use nvidia-settings to set metamodes.

Yes, I (he) want to run X11 on Intel GPU, but I want to have possibility to use Nvidia graphics with Steam or with virtual machine - so as I understand I need PRIME, not Reverse PRIME. I have installed properly hybrid drivers, but X11 still uses NVIDIA instead of Mesa

MSI's "Smart Tool" can build a USB installer or ISO image with the USB and NVMe drivers for AMD's new chipsets slipstreamed into it. It has a good chance of working with other vendor's m/boards as well.

For my part, I'm looking for a way to get an existing Win7 install to have a second go at searching for drivers for hardware it's once failed to find drivers for, without having a working keyboard and mouse. That would enable it to load the USB drivers from the m/board driver CD or from Windows Update. On the first scan, it must have tried to do USB before Ethernet, so it wasn't able to pull the drivers for USB even though it had the right files to drive the Ethernet.

Software is a very important parameter for high end gaming peripherals such as these. G.Skill named their software the "Unified Driver System" and, much like most similar software packages, it can identify and setup either or both of the KM780 and the MX780. Still, although the interface of the software remains the same, the driver package for each individual device needs to be installed separately.

But the two-time champion settled in, quickly dispatching the brace of cars ahead by the end of the second lap. Further quickfire passes on Leclerc and Kevin Magnussen, who were embroiled in a delectable scrap over sixth place, got Verstappen closer to the front of the field.

Given the success of the QuickFire Rapid, Rapid-i, and many other great mechanical keyboards from Cooler Master and the CM Storm team, it makes a lot of sense to keep building the portfolio of options to get your product into as many hands as possible. Of course, we started out with the Trigger series, and that is where we got hooked. Since then we have seen many variations of options and layout, 104-key and TenKeyLess designs, and not once have we ever had an issue with them. While they do tend to end up as out daily driver, we have yet to have one fail, and tend to donate them to others long before their lifespan is used up.

As we move into the specifications, we first must cover that while we were sent a sample sporting Cherry MX blue switches in it, you can also purchase this same layout backed with Cherry MX red or brown switches as well. It is also noted that availability can depend on region as well. The QuickFire XTi offers full NKRO support in Windows via presses of the ABS keycaps that are sprayed with a grip-coat, and all of the caps are removable. The QuickFire XTi also sports a 1ms response time or polling rate by default, and use of the keyboard is done without drivers. There are however firmware updates you can get that improve on what the QuickFire XTi offers out of the box.

There is a lot to like about this design in the QuickFire XTi. We love the fact that this solution is driver-less, requiring you only to learn to finesse the keyboard to do as you wish rather than clicking away in software. Outside of being a solid keyboard with Cherry MX blue switches in it, which we prefer, but you do have other options, Cooler Master is still able to offer a keyboard worthy of the "gaming" moniker. Sticking with a typical 104-ley layout, using the Function key and a plethora of secondary keys across the top, you can get this keyboard to do anything your heart desires, it just takes a bit of an effort.

It always comes down to price though when looking at buying a new mechanical keyboard to use day to day, and Cooler Master is right on the mark with the pricing of the QuickFire XTi. Even at $144, you get a lot of keyboard for the investment. Considering though that this keyboard can be had for $115, this driverless design offers a ton of bang for the buck. No headaches from software, the ability to program and save things on the go, anywhere, multiple LED color choices and lighting effects, the list goes on and on. In the end, Cooler Master and the CM Storm team deliver another high-quality solution to mechanical keyboarding and is well worth your attention when looking to replace your daily driver.

The race ran entirely in extremely wet weather, and on the first lap David Coulthard lost control of his McLaren, causing a multiple collision involving thirteen drivers, which led to the race being stopped. After a delay of more than an hour to clear the track, a second attempt was made to start the race, albeit without four of the drivers involved in the incident. At the restart, championship leader and pole-sitter Mika Häkkinen spun his McLaren at the first corner and was hit by the Sauber of Johnny Herbert, forcing them both to retire from the race. Hill took the lead, but was overtaken on lap eight by Michael Schumacher. Schumacher had built up over 30 seconds of advantage over Hill by lap 24 when he came up to lap Coulthard. After being instructed over the team radio to let him past, Coulthard slowed down but stayed on the main racing line; due to the spray behind Coulthard, Schumacher was unsighted, hit the back of the McLaren, and caused terminal damage to his Ferrari. Coulthard initially retired due to damage on his own car, but eventually rejoined the race and finished seventh.[1]

Heading into the 13th round of the season, Mika Häkkinen led the championship with 77 points. Michael Schumacher was in second place, seven points behind. Häkkinen's teammate David Coulthard was in third position on 48 points, making these three the only drivers who could mathematically win the title. With a maximum of 40 points available for the remaining four races, Eddie Irvine in fourth place could not catch Häkkinen's score, as he was 45 points behind. In the constructors championship, McLaren led on 125 points, ahead of Ferrari on 102. Benetton were in third position with 32 points, which meant they could not catch McLaren or Ferrari with a maximum of 64 points available from the remaining races. Williams in fourth position were two points behind Benetton and Jordan were a further four points behind in fifth.[2]

All the teams, with the exception of Tyrrell, had carried out testing in the time since the previous race in Hungary. McLaren opted to run at both Monza in Italy and Silverstone in the UK. Also present at Silverstone were the Williams, Arrows and Stewart teams, with Williams test driver Juan-Pablo Montoya setting the fastest time of those present at the circuit. Ferrari opted to run at both Monza and their own Fiorano test circuit in Maranello, Italy. Jordan were also present at Monza, although it was David Coulthard for McLaren who set the fastest time at this circuit. Sauber and Minardi opted to join Ferrari at Fiorano, whilst the Benetton and Prost teams travelled to Magny-Cours, France and Barcelona, Spain respectively to conduct private testing.[3]

Three practice sessions were held before the race; two on Friday and a third on Saturday morning. All three sessions were scheduled to run for one hour. David Coulthard was fastest in the first session, ahead of teammate Häkkinen who finished second despite a crash late in the session. The Ferrari and Williams cars occupied the remaining top six positions; Ferrari drivers Michael Schumacher and Eddie Irvine third and fifth respectively. The Williams were fourth and sixth fastest; Villeneueve ahead of Frentzen. Schumacher lapped fastest in the second practice session, with the two McLarens second and third; Häkkinen ahead of Coulthard. Damon Hill driving for Jordan placed fourth. Jacques Villeneuve was involved in what he described as his "biggest crash in F1 so far"[4] when he lost control of his car at 290 km/h whilst negotiating the Eau Rouge corner. The session was halted for 25 minutes whilst his car was recovered, and although Villeneuve was taken to the medical centre at the circuit, he was not injured.[citation needed]
