As for the Virtual Live Events, I've decided that Kinema is the way to go. Also, maybe we shouldn't wait Nov 2 but do one on October 28th. What do you guys think?

Bumping this back up. What does everyone think about doing the live virtual event on October 28th? It'll be the day after Chicago but I think it's great timing for the entire rest of the fanbase. Plus Darron can attend.

I am honestly indifferent. Just want to ensure it is executable with the rest of the team.

I will defer to others. Excited about it!

Sincerely,
Elise Riley

Was this something discussed on Tues?  May I have a little summary on what is needed for this event?  I want to be sure I have the details so I can execute what is needed. =) TYSM!

This is the streaming of the movie they have been discussing for weeks. 😊

It was discussed at some point on Tuesday. Basically, it'd be like a virtual watch party where people would be able to watch the film at a set time with some of the cast and a live chat feature. The audience would be able to see the cast but not each other.

And I also texted this to Christine and Chris:

He is asking if you like that date or not. Can you promote it in time to get 500+ people to stream by October 28th? In less than 20 days?

Darron is available on that date to participate in a watch party so it works for him (see email below by Ken). They have been discussing November 2nd for weeks with all of us (Day of the Dead) but October 28th is just in time before Halloween.

I am fine with any date, but want to ensure we can all execute a great campaign properly. Everyone nationally will be able to watch it.

Sincerely,

Elise Riley

Yes, of course. Understood. I should have inquired about the details of the event.  The details of what everyone wants to make the event shine and reach everyone.  I'll make it happen...just a few details to get put it in motion.

Yeah. And I wasn't only asking you guys. Michael and I have a lot to consider too.

Kinema has monthly plans. We'd be paying for a month either way. So we can do multiple dates. In other words, we don't have to knock the 28th out of the park. I just figure it can't hurt to give one a try before Halloween.

Also we spoke to Ersan. He says he will let us know on Oct 22 if Nov 19th is definitely doable. I know that's less than a full month of ramp up.

More importantly, he said that once we lock in a date, we CAN start the ramp up 30 days in advance, because there's a low probability of setbacks.

I think we should do the kinema screening before Halloween. I will talk to Darron about what’s better between 28 and 29.

I know it’s a shift from Nov 2 but there’s literally no reason not to since there’s a flat yearly fee, no overhead costs like travel, and if it’s a dud, no one will know since it’s not like sitting in an empty theater.

And for that same reason, I won’t let it become a major burden on MGP. Whatever promo we can get would be great, but also, Darron and I can handle most of it on his platforms.

I’ll keep everyone posted.

I can get some art started on this...just need a few more specifications when they become available.
