Dear All,

Former Egyptian Ambassador, Ambassador Mohamed Ibrahim Shaker, Chairman of the Board, Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs will be spending Tuesday at UT attending Nuclear Security lectures and discussions and is giving a talk at the Baker Center Tuesday evening.  Ambassador Shaker’s background is in the nuclear field and he is in the US participating in the Nuclear Security Summit in DC.  He will visit ORNL on Wednesday and will meet with some of the Egyptian researchers at ORNL.

More info on Amb. Shaker- http://www.otmt.com/en-us/aboutus/boardmembers/memberdetails.aspx?id=18

I tried to find out more information about his visit to UT and whether any of the events will be open to public or not - but was not successful. Maybe someone from UT can clarify this.

Best Regards,

Omar
