Egyptian table at the international Food Festival

Assalam Alikum all,
Happy new Hijry year. Tonight is the night of Ashouraa may Allah accept from us all the best of deeds.
In Shaa Allah, the international Food Festival will take place on October 29th at the world's Fair park in downtown Knoxville. We were asked to help organize the Egyptian table. The suggested menu will include:
kofta,
falafel,
lentil soup,
tahini salad,
bread,
betengan bekhal we toom (eggplant with vinegar and garlic),
basboussa,
konafa, and
baklawa
We are looking for volunteers to:
1) Cook, choose one of the items listed above
2) serve, 1 to 2 hours block (we will have only 2 people at the booth at any given point in time)
3) potential to donate money so that others can use it to buy ingredients if needed
4) supplies to decorate the booth.
This is a significant effort and we expect up to 400 people to show up. We need all hands on deck! Let's fight islamopbobia with good food and smiling faces. Please get in touch with Gannate at 865.387.0724 and let her know how you could help us make this a success.
