How does one go about testing locally? I am still early on in my testing and it would be cumbersome for me to deploy to a server for this testing. Is there a way to route the callbacks to my machine?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave, have you found a solution to this? We have heavily integrated WePay into our app in such a way that many ui components rely on having a WePay account. So in order to test the calls we are making, I currently have to push up after every code change just to observe the result. Furthermore, because certain ui components won't show unless a group has a WePay account, I can no longer navigate through my application locally. A lot of time is wasted pushing code up first.

Dave and Jake,

What language/framework are you using? Most API calls should work from your local environment. This ruby on rails tutorial assumes that an entire site is built locally - https://stage.wepay.com/developer/platform/wefarm-tutorial. There is no way to receive IPNs (callbacks) locally yet.

Thank You,
Vasusen
