Hello Fans of Wenham Street Cinema! Two events coming up:

The Douglass Ridley School is hosting a screening of Counted Out on Saturday, October 4th @ 3pm. Afterwards, we'll gather for a community conversation about the film and its intersection with our philosophy at the Douglass Ridley School. If you are interested in math or the Douglass Ridley School or a little bit of both, grab your free tickets!

Please join us on Thursday, October 9th at 6pm for a community screening of the Netflix documentary Daughters at Wenham Street Cinema!

This event is in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the organization Sisters Unchained

Founded in Boston in 2015, Sisters Unchained builds sisterhood, healing, and leadership with girls and young women impacted by parental incarceration and the criminal legal system. Their programs create spaces where young people are seen, resourced, and powerful. As families continue to navigate the ripple effects of incarceration, community members are what keep this work free and accessible. Showing up matters; supporting if you’re able matters even more.

This event is free, but donations to Sisters Unchained are encouraged.

Please RSVP at this link

Hope to see you there!
