Work as indented much appreciated. Going to test this as a PS script via group policy, etc so much appreciated. Much love for this and I hope this is available via windows admin centre as an extension to deploy packages

This is most likely due to application and device control (ADC) injecting sysfer.dll into protected windows processes. A possible workaround for this would be to make exclusions for the following processes in your ADC policy.

Administrator already has all full permissions by virtue of being ADMINISTRATOR. It can't get any better than administrator already has. In fact, Administrator has more power and rights even that a domain administrator as far as software on the local machine.

Power User is often removed or disabled as it's a dead concept - but in any case, still there or not, power user should have no impact on anything at all as no one is ever a member of power user, especially SERVICES of any sort.
Services either run as the local user, as SYSTEM, and so on. Power user isn't used by anything any longer.
Power user is a legacy concept and it's been years since I've seen it have any impact on anything at all. You can actually totally remove that group and not suffer ill-effects.

Take a look at this - from what Microsoft states here, there's no logic in making such changes.... in other words, how can you possibly grant more rights to administrator than administrator already has if administrator has complete and unrestricted rights? There's nothing more to grant or give.

The ucrtbase.dll issue is a windows issue, specifically an issue with the Microsoft C Runtime Library. SketchUp needs access to that library to run, but it seems a recent Windows update may have broken their ucrtbase.dll as well as other kernel level objects.

1) Open a Command Prompt window "As Administrator" and go to Office folder in your computer (default location Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15 [or Office16 as the case may be]). The command below assumes that you installed Office in the default location.

If the computer has recently hibernated, then bootmgr will instead invoke winresume.exe. In UEFI systems, the file is called winresume.efi and is always located at \windows\system32 or \windows\system32\boot.[4]

In one particular case, CVE-2022-43552 was reported by the curl project in December 2022. It is a use-after-free flaw that we determined to be severity low and not higher mostly because of the very limited time window you need to make something happen for it to be exploited or abused. NVD set it to medium which admittedly was just one notch higher (this time).

this is sooo fuckin hilaaaaariius hahahaa . I only use wine on Linux , but i do have a heavily modified Windows 10-install in a separate disk for gaming(AtlasOS). But I learned in the early days of windows 3.11 and windows 95, that deleting things in windows folders..or any folder u dont understand what it is is BAAAD lol.

When enabled, you can set the username and password attributes forthe administrator account that is created on your local machine. Ifthis feature is not enabled, an administrator account is not createdon the system following Sysprep. Provide a password inadminPassword only ifadminPasswordtype is Specify.

EC2Launchuses the password that you specify inadminPassword. If the password does notmeet the system requirements, EC2Launch generates a randompassword instead. The password is stored inagent-config.yml as clear text and isdeleted after Sysprep sets the administrator password.EC2Launch encrypts the password using the user's key.

The service configuration file is stored in this directory asagent-config.yml. This file can be updated to modify, add,or remove default tasks run by the service. Permission to create files inthis directory is restricted to the administrator account to preventprivilege escalation.

When Installing Jenkins, it is recommended to install and run Jenkins as an independentwindows service using a local or domain user as it is much safer than running Jenkinsusing LocalSystem(Windows equivalent of root) which will grant Jenkins full accessto your machine and services.

To get the system to a clean state, you need to restore the original Utilman.exe. This can be done from an elevated command prompt using the Robocopy C:\Windows C:\Windows\System32 Utilman.exe /B command. As you can see, the Windows 11 taskbar is somehow empty in Safe mode and can't be used to launch anything (yes, we are in the Inside Preview version, but it's quite funny that such a basic thing is not working properly here). To overcome this, simply press the Windows+R keys and type cmd in the Run window, which will launch an elevated command prompt.

Logged in to Windows as an administrator (normally I run as a Standard user), and connected all devices that were causing problems so that I could see them in Device Manager. Working out which devices are the culprits is of course the hard part, but it only required a bit of googling for the drivers listed in Settings > Windows Security > Device Security > Core isolation details. In my case the WD Drive Management drivers, a TV card driver and a Logitech keyboard settings app were responsible.

I noticed that you have windows 10 Enterprise edition and me too. I found something interesting about this windows not supported by crc. Here is the link. I've tested it but it didn't work for me. But maybe i did something wrong

C:\crc-windows-installer>crc setupINFO Checking if current user is in Hyper-V Admins groupINFO Checking if CRC bundle is extracted in '$HOME/.crc'INFO Checking if C:\Program Files\CodeReady Containers\crc_hyperv_4.9.15.crcbundle existsYour system is correctly setup for using CodeReady Containers, you can now run 'crc start' to start the OpenShift cluster

If you get below error, please stop HTTP service via CMD with temporary local admin right. Then click the Start item from CodeReady Container window tray.Error msg: Cluster did not start failed to expose port:80 -> 192.168.x.x:80: listen tcp :80: bind: An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions.Solution: open CMD with admin right, run: net stop HTTP

If you are using proxy setting on your windows settings -> Proxy and get below Network Error, you need to disable the "Automatic proxy setup: Use setup script"(Make sure it's in Off status)Network Error: console-openshift-console.apps-crc.testing does not exist.

The workaround is to stop manually the daemon from the service, kill from the task manager the CodeReady* process (if present), start again manually the service, click on the CodeReady-Containers from the windows application menu. Now the daemon service should start correctly and you'll see the tray icon on the bottom right.

Host network is local network, so i downloaded crc_hyperv_4.11.1_amd64.crcbundle and crc-windows-amd64.tar.xzAnd i created Microsoft KM-TEST loopback Network Adapter, and generate CRC Hyper-V v-Switch based on the km-test loopback adapter, and i shared Ethernet 2(host adapter) and crc v-switchAnd then i started to install OpenShift Localcrc setup -b /Download/crc_hyperv_4.11.1_amd64.crcbundlecrc start -p /Download/pull-secret.txtbut i failedOutputs is following...api.crc.testing resolved to [127.0.0.1]CRC instance is running with IP 127.0.0.1"...Temporary error: ssh command error:command : timeout 5s oc get nodes --context admin --cluster crc --kubeconfig /opt/kubeconfigerr : Process exited with status 124

It's almost as if rh wants to make it difficult for people to use their products. This should be a one click installation in windows and any linux distro. Perhaps some options along the way that allow for memory / cpu reduction or increase and off you go. Their stuff seems incomplete, unintuitive and not ready for mass consumption. Add in their awful ui in Ansible tower and one wonders how badly they want to compete since there are solutions that shame them in almost every way.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Have you spoken with your network administrator? The error seems to indicate a block between CentreWare and your SQL Server. Have them review your firewall and port availability. Please see the online knowledgebase and search on SQL there are several articles available. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

If we installed WSL either by PowerShell or Dism, we may have already installed the VirtualMachinePlatform feature (which is Hyper-V).Otherwise, you will need to run as administrator: dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:VirtualMachinePlatform /all /norestart

After you have Notepad up and running as administrator, you can then locate your hosts file and open it. While not all Windows versions store it in the same place, it is typically located within c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and the filename is: hosts. If you do not see it there, other possibilities are as follows:

if u are unable to edit ur host file, simply copy the text from the host file and open another note pad with administrative privillage, paste the text and other text when u want, save the file by replacing the previous host file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and u are done.
