Very sage advice from Dr. S. Chang and Mr. Pohlig!
For the few ‘38s who don’t have an E slot on Friday, and the 39s who are in the section not sitting the eco exam on Saturday morning, a great option for the pre-game on Friday is to grab some cocktails with Philly-based WEMBA alum (mostly ‘37s and ‘36s). They are meeting at Ben Williams’ house.
Ben Williams is to the ‘37s what Dr. Brian Galinat is to the ‘38s, and what Kelley McKee is to the ‘39s – they hold incredible house parties, amongst other great things! So may be worth checking out. Details in the email below - basically 8pm Friday, 508 Carpenter Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147; bring whatever.

Subject: WEMBA Philly Happy Hour - Nov
Hey, hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the holidays!
This Friday (11/22) is our last WEMBA Philly Happy Hour of the year! We will meet at Ben Williams' place around 8:00pm: 508 Carpenter Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
You are welcome to bring some alcohol for the cocktail party, or just show up and have fun!
Also, this is the joint weekend for WEMBA 38 & 39, so we might join them later or invite them over. Text me, Ben or Steven if you will be late to join. See you there!

And make sure take the time to memorize the names of every central bank president, finance minister, economic advisor and treasury secretary for every country across the globe. That extra 1 point comes in handy.

If anyone's interested, a group of us 38s are going to a spot called G Lounge on Friday night. We have a private room in the back. Cover is $10 for chicas and $20 for chicos. Event starts at 10pm.
Email me if you'd like to go, b/c I have to add your name to the list. Bouncers be bouncin', otherwise.
39s, I know you have a final exam the next day, but truth be told, there isn't much studying necessary. Just make copious references to equations 39, 57, and 302. For the housing question, mention equation 748. Then sprinkle in a few Y's and G's here and there, talk vaguely about how the curve shifts depending on the exchange rate in the Eurozone, yada yada yada, and you're good to go. A+++ and Palmer Scholar in the bag.
