Off-topic for the incubator, but I'm curious about whether this has happened to any of you -- plus we have some former Oregonian staff on this list, who may be able to offer insight....
While updating my portfolio this morning, I noticed that two pieces I wrote for The Oregonian (2008/2009) now list other people in the bylines. I'm not sure why or how this has happened.
I've contacted The Oregonian to find out how to rectify this, but I also wanted to check in with you to find out if this is not an uncommon occurrence.
Have you had your byline disappear before, with The Oregonian or another publication?
I'm mystified.

And, to the ready heart, profound joy. Grow joyful by opening to mystery.
