Fancy feet: The Portland Afoot launch party

Scrub the ball bearings. We're having a footwear party.

I'm writing on behalf of the city's newest local-news startup to
invite the WMTM crew to join Portland Afoot's board, sponsors,
friends, foes, tipsters, and charter subscribers at our launch party
on Thursday, July 15. It's 7 p.m. at the Blitz Pearl Cafe, right on
the streetcar at NW 10th & Couch.

Please RSVP! I expect an unholy trinity of news nerds, transit geeks
and bike punks. My kind of evening.

We'll bring some free food and a footgear contest. You'll bring that
