This happens to me only with some videos, but when the automatic subtitle transcription ends, it is frozen in "transcribing on device" and does not create the subtitles, it just remains with the bar filled.

We're sorry about the poor experience. Let us know the version of Premiere Pro that you are using. What is the length/duration of the clip/sequence that you are transcribing? Also, is it always getting stuck in the end? We're here to help, just need more info.

I am currently trying to watch Watchmen, but I am having issues displaying the subtitles properly. I have the subtitles on, but they pop on and off and they get stuck, falling behind the timing of the video and getting out of sync, which makes watching the show very uncomfortable.

Exact same issue I had, I contacted the support team and they were useless and tried to blame the internet, even though there's no issues on my phone. Their PC app is bugged so subtitles don't work properly on it. The subs stutter, are slow, and sometimes just freeze and doesn't follow the characters when they're speaking. Now TV support are too useless to fix it and won't even acknowledge the issue.

I've been on at nowtv for years to provide subtitles and when they do finally provide subtitles they're not synchronised. I watch a episode of Girls and the subtitles were from the next episode. I sit and watch NOW TV with a deaf friend and we are both completely disgusted with the attitude that NOW TV has towards subtitles. They are living in the past. They still aren't subtitles for The Walking Dead for Pete sake. Give it a year and they'll probably charge 3 a month for a subtitle package.

Absolutely terrible. Basically unwatchable. If NowTv can't get the subtitles to work, they shouldn't make programmes available to stream. The app isn't great anyway, but the subtitles simply don't work properly - fast slow, frozen - just useless.

Same! For movies the subtitles work for three or so lines then they get stuck for few more lines. Ruins the movie experience to be honest. Nowtv get a grip! Who's going to pay for a subpar product like this?

Same issue here, trying to watch Twin Peaks on the PC app, the subtitles are all over the place. They cut out randomly, sometimes it starts displaying subtitles from a total different part of the episode.

Yeah this is a serious miss from NowTV. For years subtitles have been routinely malfunctioning (not working more often than they work) and they never bother to get their software people to fix it. Frankly the whole NOWtv player is problematic - slow and sticky. It's frustrating after using a really seamless service like Netflix to not have the same quality here. Ah well..

Anyone had any more thoughts on this issue? I'm using an hdmi cable for mirroring. Image perfect and audio but subtitles freezing and then restarting about 5 pieces of speech later. I've noticed at the end of the show that the subtitles (missing?) often appear on screen in super fast speed. Must be a solution?

For consumers unaccustomed to empty grocery store shelves, the COVID-19 global pandemic brought new awareness of our dependence on a reliable supply chain. EY professionals helped one prominent frozen-foods producer completely reinvent its supply chain to meet rising demand.

Finally, EY teams analyzed logistics to identify cost-improvement areas including transportation and warehousing, vendor sourcing, network design, and redundant shipments. An evaluation of non-value-add activities revealed that some products were being handled as many as five times before reaching the consumer. By removing unnecessary manual tasks, products can now reach their destination more efficiently with only a single contact point.

Overall, EY teams consolidated distribution centers, shortened shipping times, optimized distribution, and altered freight sourcing options, realizing cost-saving potential of up to 27% of their annual logistics spend.

The EY-P&G Alliance and its Integrated Work System (IWS) provides a leading-in-class solution that will empower the company to deliver on future demands. This IWS solution engages 100% of the workforce through new digital tools, lowers manufacturing costs, and defers over $400m in capital investment. A healthier inventory model simultaneously reduces overall inventory levels while improving customer service. New digital dashboards provided by the IWS solution help managers across the organization eliminate redundancies, reducing baseline costs by $20m+.

BEIJING, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) -- Guangdong authorities on Wednesday closed a company making and translating subtitles for seemingly innocent cartoons, which actually contain scenes of a violent and sexual nature.

The company apologized on its official Weibo account, China's Twitter-like platform, saying: "We set the wrong example, to increase online video traffic by making videos that contained disturbing and inappropriate content not suitable for children."

The latest move is a reaction to the controversial "Elsagate" scandal, a public furore surrounding inappropriate cartoons believed to be aimed at children. Elsa is the main character of the Disney animation "Frozen," and is prevalent in many disturbing cartoons on online video website YouTube.

The English article, which said, "A group of perverts are targeting kids on YouTube. I used to work for them," was originally posted on social media website Reddit in November, stirring widespread concern among Chinese parents who read a Chinese translation of the article.

The matter was further complicated by the fact the story was originally posted on a section of Reddit called "nosleep," a part of the website usually reserved for "original horror stories," where it is explained that "suspension of disbelief is key."

The article describes the author's experience working in an unidentified animation firm that makes fake video clips of popular cartoon characters, such as Elsa, Spiderman and Peppa Pig, into scenes of violence, terrorism and sexuality to trick children into watching.

"Most of the video characters are popular cartoon images. It is hard to detect the disturbing content if parents pay little attention to them," Du said. "These videos are wicked, not only because they spread content full of violence, torture, abuse and sexuality to children, but because they try to rationalize the perverted acts by fitting them into everyday scenes like eating, sleeping or chatting."

"In the stories, abortion, going through surgery, being beaten or offended are as normal as having lunch. So, children are encouraged either to endure torture or inflict abuse on others," wrote a commentary on Weibo.
