Having just climbed 679 feet up to the summit of the Great Orme in Llandudno, ARRIVA Buses Wales MPD 907 - W138 VGJ is pictured on the descent with the tramway visible above it. This bus is actually at the start of its journey on route 19 to Betws y Coed, a new innovation which saw Llandudno local service 73 (Ysbyty Llandudno - Great Orme Summit) replaced by extending journeys on route 19 either to Tyn-y-Coed Road (approximately half way up) or to the Summit itself as is the case here. Having used the bus to get to the top, what did I do...? Erm walk down, which is actually worse than walking up!

Whilst I have no interest whatsoever in the Olympic Torch procession currently making its way around Wales, I did come across it inadvertently at Abergavenny at lunchtime.

A short while ago - while shopping - I happened upon Stagecoach in South Wales Streetlite CN12ARO (43003). Parked in the carpark of Sainsbury’s Cwmbran.

Opportunist shot taken with the camera of my mobilephone.
