To link to a previous photo Steve (Cymru Coastliner) has posted on here of late of a example been repainted out of the Crosville livery, here's another. VDL SB200, Wright Pulsar, 2915 CX58 EXG has just been repainted into its third coat of paint since new, (yes third!) and is showing off its new 'image' whilst passing through Craig-y-Don in Llandudno on a route 5 bound for Caernarfon. It was new to Wrexham depot for route 1 (Wrexham to Chester) but moved onto Llandudno Junction for use on a A55 service when still fairly new (AM and PM turns aimed for workers, effectively a very fast 5 working). It was accident damaged (ice if I remember correctly) so was selected to gain Crosville livery to celebrate 100 years since Crosville Motor Service began operating motor buses. It subsequently found reallocation to Rhyl (with Llandudno Junction's route 12 diagrams been moved to be operated by Rhyl depot) and recently appears to have moved onto Bangor depot whom operate the 5/X5 sections between Llandudno, Bangor and Caernarfon (note it still has a [R] sticker to highlight it has been allocated to Rhyl).
Kind Regards
Chris
