First Cymru Short Darts

First Cymru still operates just over 40 'step entrance' Pointer-bodied Darts.  The recent influx of Marshall Capital-bodied Darts from First London to Port Talbot depot has led to the majority now being allocated to Bridgend and Maesteg depots.

 

Of the 67 9m examples purchased new by SWT between 1993 and 1995, about 30 remain.

 

46517 is one of nine survivors from the first batch of 24, and is seen in Quarella Road, Bridgend in November 2009.

 

46554 is from the third batch, and is seen climbing out of Bridgend Bus Station, also in November 2009, surprisingly operating Service X1 (Bridgend-Port Talbot-Swansea).
