The TrawsCambria X32 service between Bangor and Aberystwyth has found a number of MPDs covering of late for VDL SB200, Wright Commanders. One such vehicle of interest is native to the ARRIVA Cymru fleet, 841 Y541 UJC (new as SMC541), new to Aberystwyth depot and still operating there. 841 for the majority of its career has been confined to Aberystwyth Town Services 'Gwasanaeth Y Dref' and was a common sight on the 501-6 which ended up in recent years gaining single prefix route number such as 1, 2 etc and rarely strayed unless working on the likes of the 525 Llanidloes, 526 Penrhyncoch and commonly 585 Lampeter. This example has just recieved the revised ARRIVA 'Inter-Urban' livery to replace its attractive Crosville livery. 841 is captured on the flyover in Caernarfon on the 15:15 X32 Bangor to Aberystwyth, myself and group member Steve 'Cymru Coastliner' had sampled it from Bangor to Caernarfon before a brisk run to get this photo.
Hope of interest
