The love affair between Newport Transport and Scania started in the early seventies when they received a batch of 44 single decker Metro-Scanias, 19 - 62 (VDW 419K-446K and YDW 747-762K). In 1978 these were supplemented by four ex London Transport examples 103-6 (PGC 203-6L), new to London as MS3-6. Seen here in Newport bus station some time in 1981 is  one of the former London Transport examples 104 (PGC 204L).
