Tanat Valley, 571 R871 MDY

Freshly repainted in the revised Tanat Valley service bus livery is Optare Spectra, 571 R871 MDY (first example in fleet to get this scheme). The livery is based on the current coach livery and is the companies intention to slowly move away from the white based livery with the yellow and orange stripes. It is found on the 401 Oswestry Town Service on 9th September 2011.

I must admit, I prefer the old livery. Despite the base colour changing from the rather common white, which is usually a good thing, I prefer the old design's colours and stripes overall. It was one of very few white-based liveries that I thought actually looked part of the design and worked well rather than a blank canvas with a design applied to it.

I agree, personally I do prefer the white based livery with the
stripes, when clean it looks nice but does get grubby quickly in the
winter.
