New Adventure Travel has received this new MCV Evolution-bodied MAN 14.220, which is seen emerging from Chapel Street, Pontypridd in July 2010, operating Service 102 (Glyncoch-Pontypridd-Rhydyfelin) in place of one of the former Lothian Darts.

Can someone explain to me the difference between Humphreys and New
Adventure and Glamorgan Bus.I Know they are family related but they
all seem to cover each others routes and are painted the same in some
cases.

Glamorgan Bus Is not owned by the jones family and is owned by David Gee

Humphreys and new adventure are the same company basically the services in pontypridd are covered by humphreys licence
Glamorgan Bus operated X96 Aberdare-Pontypridd X38 Pontypridd-Bargoed
Where As Humpreys  operate 102 Glyncoch -Tesco
103 Pontypridd-Oaklands
104 Pontypridd-Tesco

Thank you for that. I suppose you get this all the time from fresh
faced newcomers. Whats Top-kat and Heart of wales and SDT got to do
with them and which company did Clayton jones sell to veolia.
Shamrock? and where does THOMAS OF BARRY and Jones, Pontyprydd come
into this. Very confusing

The saga of what goes on with all these companies is unlikely to be fully resolved, without Clayton decides to publish a book about his adventures!

Some pointers, from my understanding of the situation!

Top Kat was a trading name of Independant Community Transport which was a charity/not for profit company that Jones became involved in. I think it closed down a while ago.

Heart of Wales is a trading name of Bus and Coach Wales (or it might be the other way around). This company then aquired another trading name of 'St Davids Travel'.

Thomas of Barry and Jones, Pontypridd were some of the companies sold to Veolia (there might have been more!).
