next meeting 29th August - lightning talks

We've had a couple of months without presentations as I've not managed to find anyone to present. :-(

So in an effort to try and reverse this trend I'm looking to organise lightning talks, say 4+ of them being up to ten minutes each. If you have something you'd like to show, talk about, demo etc... or a topic you'd like to see presented on please contact me or post here.

Talks don't  have to be actually on Ruby on Rails but should be of direct interest to RoR developers, this means Ruby only, Mysql, Redis, Dev Ops etc... are all welcome.


Also,

I've bit the bullet and setup a meetup.com account (http://www.meetup.com/wellrailed) mainly because apparently it's not easy to discover that there is a RoR group in Wellington. Still intending on this google group being the main source and discussion point though.
