Meeting: Wed 27th March @ 5:30pm - How your webserver works

Important: start time has changed to 5:30pm

I have an empty slot for a 20min length presentation still, I'm thinking either a show and tell, or whats new in Ruby 1.9 or even better, an intro to CoffeeScript since it's now being standard in Rails 3.1. So if someone wanted to do that, that would be grand thanks.

When: Wednesday 27rd March @ 5:30pm 

Where: NZX, Level 2, NZX Centre, 11 Cable Street

Presentations: 

Julian Doherty (from Aussy) will be telling us how your web-server works. He'll talk about a number web-servers and explain the differences between them, what they are good at etc...

Drinks:

NZX is right next to St John, so we can wander there afterwards for drinks

Access:

The meeting time has been changed to 5:30pm as their outside doors auto-lock at 6pm. Take the lift to the 2nd floor and the meeting rooms should be right there in the corridor with the lifts.

If you find the doors are locked when you get there then you'll need to text me on 021 677080 to be let in if someone isn't waiting there - no buzzer. We're still feeling out how to do this as this is our first time having it there - so please take note of my cell phone number and ring me if you get lost/stuck.
