===> NEW VENUE <===

When: Wednesday 23rd Feburary @ 5:30pm

Where: YouDo, Level 2, 10 Cambridge Terrace
How: Up the stairs in the blue building, if the door is locked, use the buzzer.
Map: http://goo.gl/maps/FStLJ

For the last couple of years NZX had been hosting our meetups, unfortunately due to recent security changes at their building this became a bit too hard so we've move back to our previous venue, YouDo. I just want to say a big thanks to NZX and Henry Collingridge for the support over that time and the use of their fantastic office!

Presentation:

This is what we actually had scheduled for the last meeting last year, except it ended up conflicting with other stuff like the Hobbit release, so we're doing it this month instead.
Andy Newport from Powershop is talking about the development of Nitra, a multiprocess distributed RSpec and Cucumber runner. It arose out of a need to be able to throw commodity hardware at their test suite to alleviate the horrible execution time that they're now stuck with for various rather boring reasons.
Drinks:

YouDo is near a bunch of nice pubs at the end of Courtney Place, so we can wander out there afterwards.

Railscamp #3:

The camp is exactly 4 weeks away with 78 confirmed attendees already! If you've not got your ticket we've made some "Late Bird" ones available here: https://railscamp-nz-3.lilregie.com/step1

I still suck at dates and proof reading it seems, just to clarify the subject has the correct meeting date in it of:

When: Wednesday 27rd Feburary @ 5:30pm

Thanks Andy, that was a great presentation to start the year with.

Just to follow up on what I said last night for those that were not there, I'm not 100% certain we'll have a meeting next month as it's only 2 days after RailsCamp.
