Guys,

I've come up naught with respects to getting a presentation on
searching off the ground for this Wednesday. So I'm reverting back to
a general Gem/Plugin/Cool code presentation/feast.

So far we have me talking about named_scope which I've been using to
dry up a bunch of code to great effect recently. I'll also probably
be talking about another Rails 2.1 feature called dirty objects.

Additionally we have Henry talking about the Chronic gem [http://
chronic.rubyforge.org/] - natural language date parsing and something
else.

There is room for an additional couple of things to be presented on -
around 10 minutes max each. If you have something you'd like to
share / talk about please contact me asap. A while back several
people mentioned they might...

Additionally, we now have Thong Kuah from Project X (Zoomin) showing
the acts_as_xapian gem.
