Mongo (via Mongoid) for Facebook app?

Hi all,

I'm writing a simple Facebook app and I'm vaguely considering using
Mongo (and Mongoid) for the data storage.

Does anyone have any experience/advice on any apps they've used Mongo
for?

I've used MongoMapper with MongoDB. It's considered more ActiveRecord
like than Mongoid.

I'm not sure how that has changed in the Rails 3 world though.

I found MongoMapper and MongoDB fairly productive to use, but I did't
have a use that needed to scale broadly.
