We're looking for an experienced RoR developer to join us for the next month in the Lightning Lab located in the Radio New Zealand building in Wellington, New Zealand. This is a contract position but could lead to full-time employment.
All applicants must be able to work in the same room with us in Wellington.

Us.
www.promoki.com (website currently under overhaul)
We're awesome.
Brands and agencies in the sales pipeline. Building a business, generating high level interest already. Paying customers already.

We live where these things combine:

Gamification.
Crowd Creativity (crowdsourcing)
Social Media.

We're new but we've been kicking ass for 12 weeks.

From the CTO...

The developer should be able to hit the ground running, minimum 40 hrs per week. Self motivated, pro active, able to work autonomously

Skills:  1+ years exp. rails
  CSS 1+ years exp.
Javascript 2+ years exp.
Familiar with Git source code repository
Familiar with 3rd Party API's.
Facebook Open Graph experience a bonus but not compulsory

Remuneration.
Contract starting immediately.
Can rustle up about $6K (max) for a 4-5 week contract. But need to talk with the dev about this.

This is the big sprint before opening an investment round.
Equity is definitely on the table.

Can have a conversation this week (asap) -- email ant...@promoki.com

So you're offering $6,000 for 5 weeks' work at a _minimum_ of 40 hours per week which makes this, at the very most, $30 per hour on a contracting basis? :)

Don't forget tax!
Perhaps the equity offer is meant to offset this.
