does anyone have any experience with this in a CI context?

http://code.google.com/p/phantomjs/

Just noticed it for the first time, and as our FF setup stopped working after a server move I'm re-evalutating that area of CI for us.

Not that one in particular but if all you want is a headless driver for rspec/cucumber I found https://github.com/thoughtbot/capybara-webkit to be pretty easy to get running on a linux env since qt is (kinda) easy to install on most distros. Haven't used it in ages so I'd be of little setup help but it's actively maintained and there's quite a few tutorials on assorted hoops you might need to jump through to get up and running.

Capybara-webkit is nice. We're successfully using rspec + capybara + firefox with xvfb under jenkins for CI for our current project FWIW.
