Announcing the June 2015 Wellington Java User Group.

In 2011 Google announced a new programming language called Dart. From their website:
- Dart is an open-source, scalable programming language, with robust libraries and runtimes, for building web, server, and mobile apps.
- Dart runs in modern web browsers and on the server.
This talk will cover explain what Google are attempting to do with Dart; give a quick overview of the language and speculate on its possible future.
Speaker: Richard Schmidt
Richard Schmidt has been programming on PCs since the original MS-DOS was released about a million years ago. He is currently a senior developer at Metservice mainly working on cloud based Java systems.
