The volunteer group would be really happy to have you onboard. I'm sure it will be a great way for you to make some valuable contacts and we'd love your help. Being blind yourself, I'm sure your advice will be especially relevant to our current project, improving the Emerge Trust website.
The aim of the group is to enable learning and sharing between individuals in our line of work and do some good in the community at the same time. If this sounds like you, please join us at our next gathering, 5pm next Saturday 17th July at the Southern Cross pub in Abel Tasman St.
We'll make sure we can see the entrance to the bar so we can come and get you when you arrive. Do you carry a cane or is there some way we'll be able to identify that you're you?
