Hi everyone,

Emerge Trust have asked if they can list our names in their annual report in acknowledgement of the work we're putting into their website.  Please let me know if you are happy to be listed.  If I don't hear back from you I will not include your name in the list.

They've also asked for an estimate of hours spent on the site for the group.  Regardless of whether you want your name listed or not, could you please let me know how many hours you have personally spent on the website?  This includes meetings but not the sitting around drinking together part of those meetings :)  They need to get the information together promptly so if you can let me know tomorrow (Friday 29th) that would be really great.

For those not currently actively involved in the project, an update:  we met over skype last night to work on content and final dev bits and bobs. That worked well so we're going to meet again next Tuesday night at 8pm to keep ourselves on track.  If you'd like to skype in just send your skype address to the group so we can add each other before next Tuesday night.  We will be starting on the final functional and user testing soon and getting Emerge to start using the site to load their content. The plan for user testing is to do it guerrilla style - get as many people as possible through the same script and see what fails. Anyone is welcome to help with that part of the process - I will pass on the script to the group and if you ant to try your hand at user testing with your family, or a friend/colleague, please do so and let us know what you find out.  This is a great opportunity to give user testing a go if you've never tried it before :)

Thanks!

Steph

I'm fine with being listed. After it is all done, I estimate I will have
spent about 30hrs on it.

I'll go with 20 hours too. By the time we've looked at all the content, done the user testing & had a couple more meetings. Hmmm, put that way it sounds almost on the conservative side!

Hi Steph,

Sorry for not replying earlier to your previous emails.
I received your email following the last meeting at Southern Cross: ok for checking the website! I've already noticed some stuff.
I've got still some graphic work to do (like the background). Hope to have some time this week end (on Sunday) to fix that.
Concerning the time spent on the webdesign:
2h the 18th August
9h the 24th August
2h the 29th August
1h30 the 1st September

+1h meeting with Emerge
+1h meeting at Provoke

+ various emails (when I've got time :) )

So 14h30 in total.

Ok for including my name... if there is the name of all the other intervenants :)

Cheers,
Julie

Thanks everyone who got back to me with time details - awesome!

Tim - can you let me know what work this time covered (just roughly please) as the hours are high comparatively and I'm not sure what stuff you were working on for Emerge?  You'll have to forgive me, it was a while ago and I had thought you stopped working on it before the user research was completed so I'm not sure what part of the Emerge project to attribute this to. I'm trying to keep a record to help us prepare better for the next project :)

Thanks!
