We discussed last night that we will go with just tags, and not
categories, for classifying blog posts, particularly as it is easy,
via a plug-in, to also assign tags (but not categories) to static
pages.
Thinking about it more, our current design only lists tags/categories
in the "Blowing our trumpet" section, aka, the blog. So, unless we
change the design to provide the list of tags on other static pages as
well in addition to pages in the blog section, I wonder if it may be a
little confusing/inconsistent when static pages show up in a list of
items for this or that tag. Or that to view all the static pages and
blog posts for a certain tag, one needs to first go to the blog
section to select a tag to view?
I'm fine with whatever is decided, and whatever design changes may
result, but wonder if it might not be simplest to keep tags for blog
posts only?
