Hi all,

Please find details for the 2nd annual 48-hour game design and development jam below:

Pixel Jam is open to anyone who wants to test their mettle by getting just a weekend to put together a whole video game. You can enter as an individual or as a team, and you'll need be able to build the design, code and art all in the 48 hours you're given.
The competition begins at 5:00 PM on Friday the 7th of September, and will end at 5:00 PM the following Sunday. There'll be a common theme that everyone has to build their game around, but otherwise there's no limits to what you can make: 2D, 3D, FPS or RPG, it's all open.
There's a $25 entry fee but we supply T-shirts and food. And there are prizes up for grabs! With judges from the local game development industry it's also a great way to yourself out there and get recognised.

There'll be more information coming soon but for now you can email me at t...@pxljm.com. And don't forget to sign up if you're interested!

This is a competition traditionally organised by graduate students at the School of Design and School of Computer Science (supported by School of Design staff). Even if you're not interested in participating, this would have a good vibe to check out during the competition or at the final judging.

Cheers
Kah
