Greetings Fellow Game Developers,

Giselle Rosman, who is the wonderful Community Manager behind IGDA Melbourne has been asked by GCAP 2012 to request content submissions from Australian & New Zealand Game Developers who have completed a game in the last year.  I offered to help spread the word in New Zealand for her as I am currently residing here.

A Showreel of ANZ Game Projects created in the past year is being made for GCAP 2012 & submissions are encouraged...here's the details:

To celebrate the successes of Australian developed games released this year the GDAA, with the help of the exceptionally talented team at The People's Republic of Animation, are compiling a showreel to be played at the opening of GCAP 2012.

The showreel will feature new releases, major content updates to existing games, animation and compositions undertaken by Australian talent.

To collect all the footage, The PRA have set up an FTP that you can send your materials to along with some basic guidelines. Details are as follows:

FTP Site:

IP address : 210.5.33.9 Port : 21 Username: GCAP Password: 8i7LSqYc

Specs requested:

- Uncompressed .mov or .avi - Minimum size 1280 x 720 - Between 15 - 30 seconds max. - 25 frames per second - Word doc containing title of your game and company name - Please create a folder with your developer name to house the files.

Dates: - We will require the footage to be on the ftp by COB 5th October.

Looking forward to seeing all your games up on the big screens.

If you feel you have something you would like to add to this showreel, feel free to submit a short movie, as per specified requirements.  Good luck with all your projects & Rock on!

cheers,

Pranee
