HDMI over Ethernet is a technology that allows HDMI audio and video signals to be transmitted over standard Ethernet cables or local area networks (LANs). It enables the extension of HDMI signals beyond the typical maximum cable length limitations.

The HDMI over Ethernet system typically consists of two main components: a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter converts the HDMI signal into a data stream for transmission over an Ethernet. The receiver is connected to the display or television at the receiving end. It decodes the data stream and converts it back to an HDMI signal for viewing.

HDMI over ethernet offers longer cable runs than standard HDMI cables, allowing you to extend the HDMI signal over a much greater distance. This is useful in larger spaces, such as conference rooms and auditoriums, as well as in home theater setups.

The Ocean Matrix OMX-HDMI-2-IP converter and ethernet extender sends HDMI over a local area network (LAN) by first converting the signal from HDMI to TCP/IP. One transmitter can pair with up to 8 receivers over one network with a VLAN switch. Includes transmitter, receiver, and two 5VAC/DC switching power supplies.

Linovision EOC-Converter is a combination of Power over Coax (PoC) and Ethernet over Coax (EOC) converter. With proprietary ePOE technology, it is designed to transmit both PoE power and ethernet data over coaxial cables or twisted pair cables, including siamese cable, CATV cable, power cable, Cat5E/Cat6, etc. The max transmission distance can be 3,300ft. It is super useful to upgrade the analog camera system to an IP surveillance system without replacing legacy coaxial cables. It can also be used in elevators to get power and network from coax or twisted pair cables.

Upgrade traditional analogue video surveillance system to IP surveillance system with existing coaxial cable at max 3,000ft distance.Up to100Mbps bandwidth over 1,000 feet regular coax cable transmission, working with CCA/CCU RG59/RG6 cable

There are some locations that are without network cables but still need POE power and data transmission, for example, elevator carts in many buildings, or doorbell cables, LINOVISION EOC converters are perfect for this application. It can transmit POE power and IP data over coax RG59 cable, twisted pair cable, doorbell cable, telephone cable, or even power cables. The remote-connected device can be IP cameras, IP Video intercoms, IP phones, IP controllers, etc.

For many elevators there are no ethernet cables and no camera powers in the elevator cart, LINOVISION EOC converters are perfect for this application. It can transmit POE power and IP data over coaxial or twist pair cables. One passive EOC-transmitter will be put inside the elevator cart to feed the camera or signal board, and one EOC-receiver will be in the control room, powered by POE switch/POE injector/POE NVR. For multiple elevators application, one EOC-Switch08 or EOC-Switch24 will be put in the control room, working together with max 8 elevators.

Use good quality IEEE802.3at 30W PoE switch to provide POE power to our EOC-Receiver, preferred with the DC53V input voltage, instead of regular 48V input voltage. Please also check the PoE budget of the PoE Switch, and make sure that the port individually can output 30W PoE power. (Most PoE Switches in the market do not support all ports at 30W POE output). Use point-to-point direct coaxial cable. The cable and connector quality will heavily affect the transmission distance. Please make sure to connect EOC-Receiver to the POE switch, and then connect the PoE cameras to the EOC-Transmitter side. The PoE output from the EOC-Transmitter is PoE mode A (use Pin 1,2,3, 6 for both data and power). If your PoE device is PoE mode B, please use our POE-Splitter or PoE-Extender02. The PoE output is standard IEEE802.3af/at PoE, and not compatible with 24V passive PoE devices.

Yes, one pair of EOC converter can be used to transmit multiple device over single coaxial cable with NVR/POE switch/WI-FI AP. The connection will be multiple device -> NVR/POE switch/WI-FI AP -> EOC Transmitter -> Coaxial cable ->EOC Receiver -> POE NVR/POE Switch/POE Injector with internet. Please note that the EOC receiver has to be connected to an POE NVR or POE Switch to be powered.

The maximum load capacity is 21W in 300ft transmission which is sufficient to power a regular IP PTZ camera. The load capacity can be at least 11W in 1000ft transmission which is sufficient to power most of IP cameras.

Several main reasons are as follow: 1. EOC transmitter has to be connected to POE device (IPC/VoIP), and EOC receiver is connected to POE supply device (POE NVR, POESwitch or POE Injector). The reverse connection will not work. 2. It is used for point-to-point coax cable direct connection only, no BNC repeater/T-connect/splitter in the middle. 3. It may be caused by insufficient load capacity. The maximum load capacity is 21W in 300ft transmission which is sufficient to power a regular IP PTZ camera. The load capacity can be at least 11W in 1000ft transmission which is sufficient to power most of IP cameras or VoIP phones. 4. No power supply will also make it fail to work. Please be informed that EOC receiver has to be connected to an POE NVR, POE Switch or POE Injector to be powered.

Saved me from running cat5 through buried conduit, along with exceeding ethernet distance limitations.
Works well with a cheap TP-Link Tapo C320WS and 5v PoE Splitter. Time will tell how long it lasts in a outdoors waterproof box. No issues streaming continuously over a week at 2K 15fps quality.

I have replaced 48 cameras and change them to POE. 6 of them were impossible to replace cables, because they are under ground, that is why I had to use this device to use POE camera. I wasn't sure at the first time, because to good to be true. At first I installed three of them about one month ago, and they where working fine, with good 4K quality. I realized the two of them randomly turning off, but one of them always turned off. with lot of troubleshooting, I found out that specific one had a bad BNC connection. I changed the BNC head, now they working perfectly. Remember to make a good BNC head, otherwise you will have problem on all of them, if they are in the same network. Anyway I bought 3 more, and installed them outside into LINOVISION EOC Converter Waterproof Box. They are working fine for now, lets see if in raining days or in the hot summer will be good too. cross our fingers. the quality of unit by itself is very good, well made.

With a compact and modular design, BOLIN VISCA over IP to Series Converter device enables any PTZ camera with serial RS232/422/485 only control support to send pan, tilt, zoom movements and image parameter data over IP network.

By using VISCA over IP control protocol, BL-VNS-1 device enables remote access capability to any serial control ready cameras that support VISCA and when bundled with KBD-1010-RNV keyboard controller, operator can easily and quickly manage all camera devices on the network.

The VC-232G is based on the two-core networking technology, Gigabit Ethernet and VDSL2 (Very-high-data-rate Digital Subscriber Line 2). The VC-232G offers stable high-speed point-to-point network access up to a duplex data transmission of 300Mbps. It provides 2 selective transmission modes, asymmetric mode or symmetric mode, for the transmission of upstream and downstream signals.

The symmetric mode provides similar transmission rate on both downstream and upstream. The asymmetric mode performs higher transmission quality in short range. When the VC-232G is in symmetric mode, it provides better upstream performance, and when it is in asymmetric mode, it gives better downstream performance.

The VC-232G is also a Long Reach Ethernet (LRE) solution which provides a quick replacement and smooth migration solution from existing analog system to full digital system. A normal UTP cable can only be extended up to 100 meters, but with the VC-232G, the distance for Ethernet networking can be extended up to 1,400 meters (4,593ft.), which is ideal for the following network applications:

The VC-232G offers two operation modes, client-side CPE and central-side CO, making any network applications easy and flexible. The CPE or CO mode can be adjusted by using the built-in DIP switch. For point-to-point connection the units must be set up as a pair of converters to perform the connection, one VC-232G should be set to CPE mode and the other in CO mode. This enables the administrator to efficiently manage the network over coaxial cable, making long-distance transmission better.
