Rules and Regulation

1.      This competition is open to all UTP students. The students will represent the village they are currently staying in. Contact your village committee for involvement.

2.      Involvement of both local and international students is highly encouraged. For example, you can also hang other country’s flag.

3.      The decoration must be done ONLY in the cafe in the respective village.

4.      Every village will be given RM 100 budget to design the cafe. Participants must bear any further expenses by themselves.

5.      The theme of the decoration must be patriotism and related to the Independence Day.

6.      Your decoration must not interfere with the operation of the cafe unless upon consent by the operator.

7.      Sharp objects and decorations which can cause hazard to the customers of the cafe are prohibited.

8.      Every village committee is responsible to inform all the village residents about the village decoration competition. They will be the one planning on the decoration to be made at the cafe.

9.      The decoration must be completed before or on 17^th August 2011 and it must remain there until 19^th August 2011.

10.  The village committee must be responsible to remove all the decoration after the competition.

11.  The jury decision will be final and the results will be announced during the closing ceremony of the Independence Week on 19^th August 2011.
