Description:
PCC, in collaboration with Georgetown University Department of Psychiatry, is conducting a short-term research study with immigrant Latinos/as in community safety net clinics located in Montgomery County, MD. Work will occur specifically at three sites in Silver Spring and/or Wheaton (the PCC main office and two clinic sites), all sites are located along Georgia Ave. The Research Assistant/Interviewers will assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, conducting one-on-one interviews, interview data input, data quality control, and data management.
Skills:
Qualifications include:
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Graduate training in anthropology, psychology, public health, or a related discipline is desirable.

Note: It is anticipated that the period focused in the interviews will last six-to-eight weeks. There are four (4) positions available, for a total of 250 hours each, including 10 hours for training for each interviewer. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. Additional
interview time may be implemented three months later.
