JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The position will be the lead planner in coordinating the work of the internal HHS Equity Work Group in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting out of the department’s efforts to develop an Equity framework and guiding principles across the HHS enterprise. This will include development of a logic model, detailed work plan, prioritization and phasing of activities, monitoring and continuous evaluation of efforts. The second major responsibility is to liaison with the Healthy Montgomery steering committee and the minority health programs to ensure that the work plans of all three efforts are aligned. These responsibilities will entail best practice and policy research, data analysis, data presentation, staffing of workgroups, outreach, report-writing and meeting facilitation.
This is a 20hr/week position ($25,799 - $42,732) with potential for more hours as funding becomes available.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Considerable (3 years) experience in health and community planning.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in public health; health care policy, planning, and administration; or communication.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education or experience may be substituted.
